St Mickeys 03:38
St Mickeys There’s a place at the end of the alley Easy to miss unless you know it’s there A little hole that I like to crawl into To forget my troubles or forget that I care A juke joint with the blackened windows Rickety tables and a faded sign Populated by the ousted and outcast Never had a past to get past their prime No need to ask, you know where I’m going I’m hangin’ down at St Mickey’s tonight Getting’ small with the flys and the gamblers Laying low but feeling so high The booze is cheap but not watered down Mickey’s way of treating us like crowns He may not listen to what you said But he’ll lift one up when you are dead Like a coven we gather close When Mickey makes his monthly toast No angels here, just those who fell A slice of heaven in our little hell No need to ask, you know where I’m going I’m hangin’ down at St Mickey’s tonight Getting’ small with the flys and the gamblers Laying low but feeling so high

Never Close My Eyes Again Today, so much better than yesterday I say, never going back to a lesser time I’ll be blind no more I tried to get along and run with the pack But now there’s no turning back to yeaterday Because today is here I’ll never close up both my eyes again I’ll never close my mind to the world around me You say ignorance is bliss, it’s a fact That way only leads to watching you back you know That’s how it goes, it’s true I say it’s easy when you handle the flack Once through there’s really no turning back And once you’re near you will have no fear I’ll never close up both my eyes again I’ll never close my mind to the world around me

Parted Blinds You know I’m watching for you to step on my lawn If your Frisbee lands there it is gone You think I’m mean, a notion that I regret Cause I’m the worst one that you ever met I hear their voices drifting up from down the street Annoying tones which make my skin just creep Don’t hit a foul ball or it’s mine to keep I’ll snatch it up and all you can do is weep I sit here watching from parted blinds Don’t miss a trick with my aged eyes I see the ball bounce missing the neighbor’s car It comes to rest in the middle of my yard And you’ll never get it back
4.
Save Your Soul And so the present’s not so different from the past Been tried before but never did it last Inject the fear into the flock and in the fold Provide solutions as they take control Raise the blade and you’ll save your soul Clashing armies fight for those they cannot see Win or lose they will not be set free The dominion will not allow for rest Flashing scalpel takes an ounce of flesh Raise the blade and youll save your soul

Tapistry 03:54
Tapestry I remember years ago The simple change of the summer and the snow All the things I took for granted Now their gone Then came the time where I faded away Thought I’d go but it seems that I will stay Empty faces in the places I lay They think I’m gone Nothing more than a memory A faded piece of tapestry Time has moved but I stay the same Faces change and the scene is rearranged I pound my fist though there’s no one to blame Because I’m gone See the children play outside I see their eyes and I know they aren’t mine I think I’ll stay and play for a while Before they’re gone Nothing more than a memory A faded piece of tapestry It goes on

Ozmosys Another day Drifts away and fades into twilight time Behind my eyes The darkened skies of irreality threaten me Could it be that this scene has played out before Comes the night I feel all right but it’s not over yet In my mind I see the sign, leads me to the rabbit hole Could it be that this scene has played out before Though somewhat familiar, don’t know what’s in store Float around from the clouds Touching down my thoughts aloud In my mind why, where and how Don’t want to look for answers Up ahead a scene unfolds Dragonfire and horsemen bold Sanity is bought and sold I need to find an answer Cut to scene a city street I’m alone no souls to meet In the dark it’s behind me I think there are no answers

Ozmosys (part 2) In the night A slight reprise of reality comes over me The moment burns and I return to the rabbit hole And I know that this scene has played out before The visions unfinished I open the door Don’t ask me I don’t even know anymore What’s illusion or what is real Assaulted at every turn I’m still on my feet I bend but will not yield Panorama, changing vista ,raw emotions, fantastic creatures Can’t wrap my head around the sights in my eyes Imagination is too real Don’t ask me I don’t even know anymore What’s illusion or what is real I think it’s time to leave and find my way home It’s time to just wake up My journey has take me so far from my life Or the life I thought I led It’s amazing that one can travel so far from their home And never leave their bed Like a movie, flicking picture, defeat the monster, claim the victory I think it’s time to turn around and go home It’s time to just wake up Safe in the familiar again Back in the world, not alone Safe in the familiar again There’s no place No place like home
