In the night
A slight reprise of reality comes over me
The moment burns and I return to the rabbit hole
And I know that this scene has played out before
The visions unfinished
I open the door
Don’t ask me I don’t even know anymore
What’s illusion or what is real
Assaulted at every turn I’m still on my feet
I bend but will not yield
Panorama, changing vista ,raw emotions, fantastic creatures
Can’t wrap my head around the sights in my eyes
Imagination is too real
Don’t ask me I don’t even know anymore
What’s illusion or what is real
I think it’s time to leave and find my way home
It’s time to just wake up
My journey has take me so far from my life
Or the life I thought I led
It’s amazing that one can travel so far from their home
And never leave their bed
Like a movie, flicking picture, defeat the monster, claim the victory
I think it’s time to turn around and go home
It’s time to just wake up
Safe in the familiar again
Back in the world, not alone
Safe in the familiar again
There’s no place
No place like home
